Travel by either dog sled or snowmobile to the wilderness camp. When you arrive, your guide will instruct you on how to build your own igloo to sleep in.
You will be served a hot lunch in the warm camp, and then continue with your igloo, which takes about 4-5 hours (2 person igloo). Once your igloo is ready, we will start with dinner and then move on to relaxing with a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits. Then it's time to get comfortable in your igloo, where the temperature remains around a comfortable minus 3-5 degrees, even if the temperature drops much lower outside. The sleeping bags you'll be using will keep you warm down to minus 30 degrees, so you'll stay cosy and warm all night.
You will go out with your guide and follow a trap line your guide will show you during the trip on different types of game trails and explain what they are and how different animals move, what their trails look like etc. Your guide will also show you how to set up simple traps to catch smaller animals, in other words some simple survival tricks.
